When the North Calls, the Teammachine R 01 Answers

Opening Weekend – with Omloop Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne – is where the northern Classics awaken. Where wind cuts through the peloton, cobbles strike without mercy and ambition is tested from the very first kilometer. For the Tudor Pro Cycling Team, it was a brutal and emotional opening chapter on Flemish soil.

Crashes and setbacks reshaped the script of the weekend, forcing the team to regroup and fight back. On roads where hesitation means defeat, resilience becomes a weapon. Through the chaos, the crosswinds, and the relentless pounding of the cobbles, one constant remained: the performance of the BMC Teammachine R 01.

Engineered for pure racing speed and optimized for an uncompromising stiffness-to-weight ratio, the Teammachine R 01 proved it belongs on these roads. Its precision handling carved through narrow sectors and nervous positioning battles, while its advanced carbon layup absorbed the violence of the pavé without sacrificing power. In the northern Classics, control is everything and this is a machine built to command it.

Sunday in Kuurne -Brussels-Kuurne demanded even more. Racing in reduced numbers, the team refused to yield. Matteo Trentin and Luca Mozzato demonstrated unwavering determination during another fast and relentless day on the roads of Flanders. From a fiercely reduced front group, the two Italians launched a powerful sprint to secure a remarkable double podium, second and third place at the line in Kuurne

The first weekend of the Classics delivered exactly what the North promises: battle, sacrifice, and glory earned the hard way. It also confirmed something else: the Teammachine R 01 is built for this arena. Built to transfer every watt when the race explodes. Built to remain stable when the wind howls. Built to endure when the cobbles try to break both rider and machine.

The North has called. And the season has only just begun.
